To all Rotarians in District 3860
Dear Fellow Rotarians,
I am grateful for this opportunity to extend my best wishes to all
of you, Rotarians, families and friends, that have made Rotary what
it is today and what it will be in the future.
Although Rotary has been steadily moving forward for more than 97
years, I would say, that we have barely scratched the surface.
During 2002-03, we must do all that we can, and I think that this is
especially important in the area of international service. Our
unique structure of independent, community-based clubs united by
shared Rotarian values is ideally suited to tackle global problems.
When we reach across borders and oceans to collaborate on
international service projects, we turn strangers into friends. And
a world filled with friends is a world filled with love and that is
why I am calling on all the Rotarians worldwide to always Sow the
Seeds of Love.
Every act of service we perform is like a seed, growing a bountiful
crop of love throughout our world. May your continued commitment
help your club and your community grow stronger and reap the
bountiful harvest of your service. Let us go forth in 2002-03, and Sow
the Seeds of Love. |
